A Peek Inside

So, today is a GOOD day! We signed the contract AND Nana, Pudge and Nuf are on their way to Ocala! I have to say, signing the contract was bittersweet. I'm excited to get moved in, paint the walls and make this place our home, BUT I'm sad that it means we're REALLY living here. It's not that I don't like it...I just wish I could move my favorite people here...that would be PERFECT. The closing date is April 21st.......(I can hardly believe it....).

Our House?!?

So we've been waiting and waiting................and waiting. When we made the offer in October, we were hoping to be in by Christmas. Then we hoped for Valentine's....then my parents' visit (which is a week from today...so no way on that one). Now, we're hoping to be in it by summer. I have been trying really hard not to complain (after all, we kind of asked for this by making an offer on a short sale), but after being told last week that the bank agreed on a price and that we should have a contract by TODAY.....(too late for that now), I'm starting to lose patience....
