Holiday

We drove for two days to see family and friends over the holidays and were surprised that the drive was actually enjoyable. There was minimal whining (thanks, in part, to our DVD player) and lots of excitement as we left the warm air behind us and donned our socks and coats for the first time all winter. It was great! We enjoyed several days in Dallas...the highlight was meeting Lydia and Tim's first baby, Bobby. He was just as beautiful in person as he is in his photos. We enjoyed visiting with everyone and the cousins loved getting to play for several days in a row. On Christmas eve, we raced to Tulsa (we were only an hour ahead of the blizzard!) We were snuggled safely in front of Nana & Pudge's fire when the snow started to fall. The memory of Pudge in his snuggy is priceless. We enjoyed playing in the snow and loved that the slick roads gave us an excuse to be lazy. We loved being with Nana & Pudge and wish we could've had more time with them. After being in Tulsa for a few days, we headed over to Fort Smith Arkansas for Camp Nana Pudge. The cabin was a great place to make memories with cousins. They made a snowman, gingerbread houses, snow globes and had a scavenger hunt. We had a great trip (even the drive back was easy....made even better by a stop at The Varisty and Trader Joes in Atlanta.) The only hitch in the entire trip (besides experiencing Oklahoma's first blizzard) was a stomach bug that somehow Anna and Stephen avoided. Now we're back in Florida and it's COLD....well, not really winter-cold, more like fall-cold....but we definitely need our socks and coats...at least for a few days.

Scootin'

The cousins had so much fun on the scooters that Honey and Bubba gave them....although Levi preferred to walk his scooter. =)

We loved meeting the newest addition to the family, sweet little Bobby.
