Easter with the Zeds of Texas

We went to Honey and Bubba's for the extended Easter weekend. The girls had a blast playing with "baby Henry"...(we've decided that they'll probably be calling him that when he's 6 feet tall and running down the basketball court!) We played at the park, flew kites, died and hunted eggs and just hung out. We had a great time....it was worth the drive that takes normal people 4 1/2 to 5 hours...but the Zeds of Tulsa....7 hours, baby!! =) (with no diapers on Anna, Dallas traffic...and Stephen's, eh, cautious driving....I'm not sure how we could've made the trip any shorter...thank goodness for the portable DVD player!)

Bandaids, Potties and Jesus

Annabelle was very impressed with Nana's shoes today (blue flip flops). She told Nana, "I really love your shoes. They're so pretty. Did your father buy them for you?" Then in the car tonight, we ran over a stick or something in the parking lot and it hit the bottom of the car, making a little noise. Annabelle asked what it was and when I told her that a something hit the bottom of the car, she said, "Do we need to put a bandaid on the car, mommy?" I starting laughing and she said, "No...that's just for big girls." Speaking of, she's been in panties all week, even in public and during her naps! I think we've turned the corner. We've had a few accidents, but not many...she even kept her panties dry at preschool on Tuesday! Tonight we went out to eat with Jonny K, his lovely girl and another couple, and Annabelle told us she needed to go, held it all the way across the restaurant and went in the big public potty!! Both girls have been pretending to be Mary and thier babies are all named Jesus. I think I have a picture of Sophie as Mary, I'll have to post it...
