Little gymnast

Here are some of Sophie at the little gym. I couldn't believe all the stuff she learned there. She can basically walk on the low beam by herself..and the high beam with little help. She is so poised when she does all the little challenges...she looks like a natural gymnast. She learned how to do a forward roll on the low beam (with help). And she's become quite an expert at forward rolls on the floor. She loves to do back and front rolls off Nana and Pudge's ottoman.

Anna's new hobby

Annabelle had so much fun making paper chains for Christmas and her birthday party, that she decided to come up with other ways of having fun with scissors and paper. I was out of tape so so she improvised. She cut strips, made a little slit on one end and then made it into a circle by inserting the other end in the slit. (this was her idea) Here's a picture of some jewelry she made for me. She also made a shark and a house...using the slit method...pretty clever, that little Anna!

Sophie graduated from Little Gym in January...here she is getting her ribbon and animal crackers. She was so proud.
Here's one of her holding the portrait of her daddy that she drew...notice the hair! This was one of the first people pictures she drew...now, she is making faces all the time, sometimes with legs and feet connected.

The Sophster

Mom and I were organizing the cousin hand-me-downs, and Sophie found some 3-6 month stuff that fit her pretty well....=) I had casual clothes out for Sophie to wear to church one day and she insisted on wearing her fancy dress, with the hat and muff....sometimes, I'm not sure that we're related! (but most of the time, it's very evident!) And I had to add one of her favorite outfit, her birthday suit.

Valentine's Day

Here are the girls at the playgroup valentine's party. We brought homemade ugly dolls to share with our friends...I may be making some more ugly dolls this week if Oliver doesn't hurry up and come.
