Our playgroup went to a farm a couple of weeks ago (one of the mom's grandfather's farm)...anyways, we got to pet horses, goats and kittens. In June, we're going to go back to pick berries. I think one of Annabelle's favorite parts (besides the swingset) was hanging out with the goats. They are fainting goats, which means when they get scared, their limbs get stiff and they fall over. We got to ride in the gator-mabobby to round them up and bring them to the barn. A lot of them were running with straight legs because they were frightened. Anna, on the other hand, was not at all afraid. She held court with goats, talking to them like they were her peers. "Okay goats, we are all friends," she said to them...she especially liked the baby goats and tried to pet them while saying, "Oh baby...it's okay baby," but they kept ducking behind older goats. At one point I hear a thud, looked in the corner and found that one of the bigger goats was down...little scary Anna made him faint.
