Here are some snap shots that Lisa, my mom's co-worker, took of Sophie when we dropped by to see my mom at her office. Anna was at home napping with daddy so there are none of her...
I think for a couple of minutes of quick shooting, she got some awesome pics!

Proud Mama!
When we were walking to the car, a helicopter was flying to St. Francis and was really close...Annabelle stopped squatted next to her baby and said, "Look, a "heli"!" Then she unbuckled the baby, picked her up, pointed and said, "See the heli?...oh wow!" It was sooooo cute!!!! =)
She's also saying things that aren't so cute....like today she told me she wanted to "sit up der" and was pointing to the front seat...(I let her sit there the other day while I fed Sophie in the parking lot of the grocery store and she rather liked it!) I told her that she couldn't sit there because she was too little and that Nana was going to sit there (we were picking Nana up) and she said in a stern voice, "No! Anna sit der!"
Some of her new phrases: "Where are you?" "I'm coming!" "May I have (fill in the blank)" and "Choo choo" is no longer her sound for anything that goes...it is how she says "thank you" and boy is she polite! Almost anytime I give her something she says, "Choo choo, Mama." It cracks me up!
Tonight when Stephen was reading her a story, he was pointing to pictures and asking her what everything was....most of them are pretty basic things that we know she knows...so when he pointed to a jet ski we weren't expecting her to say, "jet ski" but she did! He had read it to her last night and she remembered!
Okay, one last thing I have to journal since I will never actually write these things down...The other day she was playing with some short dow rods (spelling?!) that she really shouldn't have been playing with but when I saw what she was doing, it was pretty cool....she was crossing them and saying "X" and then she laid them on the table, got another one and made an "A"....and said, "See, mama...it's a A"

Anna and Daddy
Here's Daddy and Anna at the park yesterday...we are loving this weather!
We spent lots of time outside today in tee shirts and shorts! Sophie LOVES being out! We went to the "parks" as Anna calls it and played with the "purses" (buckets) in the sandbox....what a girl!!

Sophie
Sophie loves to swing now! She smiles the whole time, always on the verge of laughing....
She's doing so much...crawling, pulling up, cruising, and today she opened a drawer at Nana's and Pudges...(uh oh...=)!) She can also get herself down now after pulling herself up...she looks so cute when she does it...because she has to get in a squatting position!! She also has been bending down to pick things up and holding on with one hand and reaching behind her.....Mama's starting to understand what it meant when people told her her world would change when Anna started crawling....
